Gallery 14 presents Whimsy and Wonder
Sculptured Bamboo by Brent Greene and Paintings by Viola Pace Knudsen

November will be a special month at Gallery 14 when two very popular artists return to the Gallery to offer more of their special creative interpretations of our natural surroundings.  Gallery 14 presents Whimsy and Wonder: Sculptured Bamboo by Brent Greene and Paintings by Viola Pace Knudsen.

The exhibit, will run from November 3-27, with a reception on Friday November 6, from 5-8pm as part of the Historic, Downtown Arts District's First Friday Gallery Stroll.

Brent Green's bamboo insects and other delights have graced the halls of Gallery 14 before.  He was the December 2014 Gallery Choice Award at Our Beautiful Waters, and then in February of 2014 went on to win 1st Place Mixed Media at Art on the Island.  His bamboo creations also helped us usher in Spring of April 2014.

Viola, who is represented by the Gallery year round, will have her yearly special expanded show.  This exhibit will focus, not on her intricate and fanciful baskets – although some will be on view – but, rather on her special photo-realistic paintings of the wonders of the Florida landscape.

Also on view, will be work in watercolor, acrylic, oil, graphite, mixed media, collage, jewelry, photography, ceramics and sculpture, by Gallery 14 partners: Edgardo Abello, Lila Blakeslee, Barbara du Pont, Mary Ann Hall, Barbara Landry, Virginia Knapp, Deborah Morrell Polackwich, Dorothy Napp Schindel and Shelley Weltman, as well as represented artists: Carol Staub, Francis Mesaros, Joan Earnhart, Terry Green, Walford Campbell, and Emily Heinzel.

Gallery 14, located at 1911 14th Ave. Vero Beach, is open Tuesday through Friday 11am-6pm, and Saturday 11am-5pm, or by appointment.
